The Creators

Rodrigo, The Mechanical Engineer

Shaheen, the Technician

Yeet, the Softwear Engineer
Our Careers
The three of us go to school in Luxembourg, to the highschool Athénée de Luxembourg. Yeet and Rodrigo are in the same grade, 12th grade, while Shaheen is in a class below, 11th grade. Prior to AURA we had no experience whatsoever with anything related to the project. We had to learn everything from scratch, even the basics like how a circuit works. Rodrigo had to learn how to program Arduino, learn about skin cancer, design a PCB and a circuit. Shaheen had to learn how to solder, smd solder, crimp and design 3D prints. Yeet had to learn how to program swift and create an App; he had to learn how to edit videos and manage social medias and create websites. However, the reason we made AURA is to do good in the world. We aspire to make a real change and improve the world.
Our Mission
AURA’s mission goes beyond creating a wearable device, it is about raising awareness and inspiring change. In a time when sun exposure and tanning are celebrated, we want people to understand the hidden dangers, especially the underestimated risk of skin cancer. Too little attention and funding are directed toward its prevention, and we believe this must change.
Through AURA, we aim to make people more conscious of their health, inspire greater investment in medical innovation, and encourage especially young scientists to take on challenges that truly matter. AURA is not just a project, it is a movement to protect lives and shape a healthier future.
